Vision Express CHECT charity ride

Over 5th & 6th of September Finely Tuned Ride was part of the support crew supporting Vision Express CHECT, #ride4sight charity ride. A 2 day, 160 mile bike ride From Stratford Velodrome, London to the finish line in Nottingham. I have of course have heard of Vision Express but I have never heard of CHECT!

CHECT or Childhood eye cancer trust, which supports family’s who have been hit by the rare eye cancer retinoblastoma. Retinoblastoma is cancer of the eye, BUT if Signs and symptoms caught early it is treatable.

So please if you just had a baby or know of someone with a baby please take 5 mins to have a look at the signs and symptoms, it might save someone sight if caught and treated early.

FTR also like to say what a great team of vision express CHECT riders who did the event, from experienced riders to new riders taking up cycling to do the challenging event, but mainly how they supported & encouraged each other the 2 days, all ways smiling, enjoying some good banter and having FUN!
