Finely Tuned Ride (FTR) are delighted and excited to announce that they are becoming a Lapierre bikes dealer. This has been made possible due to expansion of the FTR retail area into a bigger show room (due to open June).

So why Lapierre bikes?

Following hiring a Lapierre Spicy on a trip to the Alps, Rob at FTR was so impressed with the bike build and handling that on return to the UK he went out and brought a Spicy almost immediately; alas it was also unfortunately one of the assets sold when FTR was initially being funded.

Lapierre bikes are heavily involved with pro race teams in both MTB (Team Lapierre International) and Road (Team FDJ) which ensures that the bikes are put through their paces, as-well as the teams, Lapierre has the living MTB legend and 10 times (DH) World Champion, Nicolas Vouilloz been an integral Lapierre R&D member since 2003 and still competes in the highest level of Enduro racing.  And all the results flowed down to the everyday biker.

FTR feels that the Lapierre brand also fits in well with the Cotic and Kinesis brands that we already sell.

What do Lapierre offer?

Lapierre bikes have a great range of Road, MTB and Urban bikes starting at very reasonable prices (from £489). There is an extensive women’s offering across all the bike ranges and the kids aren’t forgotten either; there really is something for everyone.

FTR’s hot picks of the bikes in the Lapierre range are:

  • The Spicy/Zesty full suspension bikes – great enduro/all mountain bikes (27.5 & 29 wheel size options)
  • The Raid FX – a great value for money full suspension bike for £899
  • Prorace – the fast 29″ cross country hardtail.

  • The Aircode – a great aerodynamic carbon race bike
  • The Pulsium – high performance & comfort endurance sportive bike

  • The Shaper – flat bar road bike great for keeping fit/commuting.

When can I get my hands on a Lapierre?

Stock bikes are due in June to coincide with the opening of the new showroom. Additionally, there will be a couple of demo bikes available so that you can try before you buy. However if you already know you want a Lapierre bike you’ll be pleased to know that you can pre-order your bike now, so get in contact.
